What is Forex? I have been asked this question several times because a lot of people feel it is a great way to earn money. They ask, " I have heard so much about Forex over the years. What is Forex?" So, what is Forex? Well let’s see Forex is short for The Foreign Exchange Market. It is basically a financial market that deals with different currencies all over the world. All over the globe currencies are traded, they are basically bought and sold. There is another definition here.
So, what is Forex? Sure it is a great way to make money but it isn’t easy money at least at first. You must know what you are doing before you jump into Forex. Just like everything else it isn’t wise to start with a fist full of cash because that fist full of cash won’t last you long. Sure you may get a few lucky trades you may make some great money but it won’t last long. Have you ever heard the saying, “A fool and his money are soon parted”? Well that saying definitely applies to this situation. I f you do not know what you are doing then you will get burned. It is best to first research and there are certainly some great demos that can be tried where you don’t use real money but you trade like you do. I would highly recommend these demos. I have had the opportunity too and they are very realistic. I have included one here unfortunately it is only for Canadians but I am trying to find a U.S. one to add here. These are great because you don’t use your own money, you don’t have to sign up with a credit card, and there is no obligation. You can test the waters and learn from your mistakes without those mistakes costing you. I don’t know about you but the best way for me to learn is by doing. And when I don’t have to sacrifice my hard earned money to learn, that is a great bonus.
So what is Forex? Forex is a great way to make money just as long as you know what you are doing.
